Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) of NRD CHICAGO. Responsibilities You will be responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and transmitting the officer tests to the appropriate commands. You will ensure that records are complete and accurate. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness and proper forwarding of records to various commands/boards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to applicant testing; 2) Reviewing records and processes actions involving varied processes, such as applications for special assignments or schools, requests for reconsideration, resubmissions, recalls, inter-service transfers, entitlement and eligibility of active, inactive, collegiate and reserve military personnel; 3) Interviewing personnel to obtain data and additional information as needed to complete records or to correct discrepancies; 4) Drafting and preparing related correspondence, reports or other documents as required for appropriate signature.
