Robert Half is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to provide immediate support to a busy Trusts & Estates practice. This individual will play a key role in the preparation, review, execution, and management of estate planning documents while working closely with attorneys and clients throughout the estate planning process. The ideal candidate will have substantial New York trusts and estates experience, strong drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 9am to 5pm EST (Mon-Fri)

Location: On-Site, 5 Days per Week (White Plains, NY)

Compensation: $50-$60 per Hour

Duration: Temp to Perm

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare proxies, living wills, and related estate planning instruments.

Review estate planning documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client objectives.

Coordinate client meetings and oversee the execution and signing of estate planning documents.

Support attorneys with estate planning matters from initial intake through final document execution.

Maintain and organize client files, estate planning records, and related documentation.

Communicate directly with clients regarding document requests, signature requirements, and follow-up items.

Assist with the preparation of trust funding documentation and other post-execution matters.

Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of estate planning projects.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of estate planning/trusts and estates paralegal experience.

Strong experience drafting estate planning documents independently.

Extensive knowledge of New York trusts and estates laws and procedures.

Experience coordinating document signings and client execution meetings.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-service-oriented approach.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a busy practice.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with estate administration and probate matters.

Familiarity with trust funding and related post-execution processes.

Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals and families.
