Job Description:

When you join ControlTech Automation as an Electrical Engineering Technician, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You'll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients.

Validate Engineered solutions

Collect entire design packages and build packages

Act as Liaison between Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing

Schedule and execute engineering and manufacturing handoff meetings

Create Bills of Materials for non-engineered solutions

Interface with our client and distributor representatives

Research alternate electrical components to optimize delivery, design, and cost

Assist in designing custom Industrial Control Panels based on specified criteria.

What You'll Bring

1+ year(s) of related industrial automation fabrication experience.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of systems.

This position requires the ability to successfully execute multiple project responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

This position supports the entire engineering team and reports directly to the Engineering Manager.

Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and networks is a plus but not a requirement.

A Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements

Regional travel may be required on a sporadic basis to support regional projects and activities.
