Job Title: Assembler Job Description
This role involves assembling construction equipment using hand and power tools, following blueprints and schematics, and performing functional tests to ensure each unit meets quality and safety standards. You will work in a climate-controlled production environment and handle physical tasks, including lifting components up to 50 pounds, while contributing to efficient and accurate equipment assembly.
Responsibilities
Assemble construction equipment according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Use power tools and hand tools, such as drills, screwdrivers, and wrenches, to fasten and secure bolts and other components.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete accurate assemblies.
Measure and align parts using a tape measure and other measuring tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Perform basic electrical and wiring tasks as required for equipment assembly.
Conduct tests on assembled equipment to verify proper operation and identify any issues or defects.
Inspect parts and assemblies for quality, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
Handle and move components and assemblies, including lifting items up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Collaborate with team members and follow production schedules to meet daily and weekly output goals.
Work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturday shifts or extended weekday shifts to support production demands.
Essential Skills
Previous assembling experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and strong mechanical inclination for working with tools and machinery.
Proficiency using power tools and hand tools for assembly tasks.
Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring for equipment assembly.
Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring tools accurately.
Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a structured production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience assembling construction equipment or similar industrial products.
Comfort working with both mechanical and basic electrical components.
Strong attention to detail and quality in all assembly tasks.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, including in Spanish-speaking environments.
Reliability and flexibility to work occasional overtime, including some Saturdays.

Work Environment
This position is based in a climate-controlled production facility focused on assembling construction equipment. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime available through Saturday work or extended shifts as needed. You will work with power tools, hand tools, measuring tools, and assembly fixtures in a structured, safety-conscious environment. Steel-toed boots or shoes are required as part of the dress code to ensure safety on the production floor. The department welcomes Spanish speakers, supporting a diverse and inclusive team atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
