Description

Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support property transactions in a busy legal practice. This role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, attentive to detail, and confident handling multiple files at different stages of the closing process.

Role: Real Estate Paralegal

Location: Andover, MA

Schedule: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Salary: $85,000 - $97,000 (depending on experience) + great benefits

Responsibilities:

Support attorneys with residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.

Prepare, review, and organize purchase and sale agreements, deeds, closing documents, title documents, and other transaction-related materials.

Coordinate and assist with real estate closings, including preparation of closing packages and settlement statements.

Review title commitments, surveys, municipal records, and other due diligence materials.

Conduct and assist with title and property research.

Coordinate with clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, opposing counsel, and other third parties.

Prepare and maintain organized electronic and physical transaction files.

Track transaction deadlines and ensure all required documents and signatures are obtained.

Assist with recording and post-closing matters, including preparation and submission of required documents.

Communicate with clients regarding documentation, transaction status, and closing requirements.

Provide general administrative and paralegal support to attorneys as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal

Experience with residential or commercial real estate transactions required; experience with both is a plus.

Strong understanding of real estate transaction procedures and documentation.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members.
