Summary:
Meta is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of account managers focused on growing mid-market Consumer Packaged Goods and Ecommerce advertisers across Meta's family of apps and services. and is not remote eligible. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by coaching your team to develop consultative advertising strategies, deepen client relationships, and deliver measurable business outcomes for brands navigating the intersection of digital commerce and performance marketing. You will shape how mid-market CPG and Ecommerce clients leverage Meta's advertising platform to reach consumers, drive conversions, and scale their businesses.

Sales Manager, Mid-Market Account Management Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of account managers responsible for growing a portfolio of mid-market CPG and Ecommerce advertisers on Meta's advertising platform
Define and execute a strategic vision for the mid-market CPG and Ecommerce segment, identifying growth opportunities and setting team priorities aligned to revenue goals
Coach account managers on consultative selling techniques, campaign optimization strategies, and stakeholder management across internal partners (cross-functional teams, specialists, leadership) and external clients
Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, measurement, and operations to deliver integrated solutions that address CPG and Ecommerce client needs
Analyze team and portfolio performance data to identify trends, surface insights, and adjust go-to-market strategies for the CPG and Ecommerce vertical
Represent the mid-market CPG and Ecommerce segment in cross-functional planning discussions, contributing to product feedback loops and vertical-specific initiatives
Develop and maintain relationships with key mid-market clients and agency partners to support account growth and retention
Drive operational excellence across the team by establishing scalable systems, repeatable frameworks, and structured processes for pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning
Filter and prioritize organizational communications to maintain team focus, translating business changes into clear and actionable guidance
Build and sustain team culture and cohesion across a distributed team, fostering connection through in-person engagement and deliberate team-building efforts
Recruit, onboard, and retain account management talent, building a high-performing team culture grounded in accountability and client impact
Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, account management, or a related client-facing commercial role
Experience managing or developing teams in an advertising sales or account management organization, including in an interim lead, pod lead, or similar capacity, within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Experience building scalable systems and repeatable frameworks to drive team efficiency and consistency
Experience working with CPG or Ecommerce advertisers on performance marketing, brand campaigns, or digital commerce strategies
Experience using data and advertising metrics to drive client strategy and team decision-making, including familiarity with measurement frameworks such as attribution, incrementality, or return on ad spend
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies

Familiarity with Ecommerce advertising solutions including catalog-based advertising, dynamic ads, or conversion optimization products
Familiarity with measurement solutions including Conversions API (CAPI), incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling (MMM), or attribution reporting
2+ years of experience managing and developing teams at scale in an advertising sales or account management organization, including experience navigating high-volume and fast-paced environments
Experience managing mid-market advertiser portfolios at scale within a digital advertising platform environment
Track record of building and scaling account management processes that improve team efficiency and client outcomes
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/@context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Experience with Ecommerce, direct-to-consumer, or venture-backed advertisers in a sales or account management capacity
Experience leading teams through organizational transitions, restructures, or go-to-market changes
Public Compensation:
$182,000/year to $262,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
