Industrial Engineer | Minneapolis, MN

Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the Factory Test Equipment team supporting cross-functional engineering and automation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $39.42/hr

What's the Job?

Provide technical expertise to engineering teams and support the successful execution of complex engineering projects.

Serve as the subject matter expert for PLC integration and troubleshooting within automated test equipment systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define, manage, and maintain system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to improve system performance.

Lead small project teams, managing schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.

What's Needed?

Experience in systems engineering and/or industrial engineering environments.

Hands-on experience with PLC systems, including integration and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of equipment integration, implementation, and automated system support.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
