Tow Truck Driver

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $26 - $26 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Tow Truck Driver:

Operate tow trucks and roadside assistance vehicles to safely transport disabled, damaged, or improperly parked vehicles

Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner

Provide courteous and professional customer service during all interactions

Perform roadside assistance services, including jump-starts, tire changes, vehicle lockouts, and fuel delivery

Complete vehicle recovery and towing procedures while maintaining safety standards

Work independently in roadside, traffic, nighttime, and varying weather conditions

Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures while performing duties

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

Previous tow truck experience is required

Ability to safely operate tow trucks and roadside assistance vehicles

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe towing practices

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in traffic, roadside, nighttime, and changing weather conditions

Ability to remain safety-focused and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred

Background check and drug test required
