The APP will work closely with Neurologists and multidisciplinary staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments, neurological examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.- Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions under established clinical protocols.- Provide inpatient consultations and assist with follow-up care and discharges.- Conduct outpatient visits, manage follow-ups, and coordinate ongoing care.- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (EEGs, imaging, labs) as appropriate.- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive measures.- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Licensed NP or PA in the state of Illinois- Current Illinois RN and APRN license or Physician Assistant license.- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).- Neurology experience preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates with strong internal medicine or critical care background).- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.?What We Offer- Competitive compensation and benefits package.- CME allowance - Access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.- Opportunities for growth within the national Prime Healthcare network.- A rewarding role in a mission-driven organization focused on patient-centered excellence.

Pay Transparency

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
