Job Title: Assembler - Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling, testing, and inspecting air-cooled heat exchanger units to ensure they meet strict quality and performance standards. You will use mechanical assembly skills, read and interpret blueprints, and work with power tools and measuring equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a solid mechanical aptitude, and the ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work.
Responsibilities
Assemble air-cooled heat exchanger units according to blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Use mechanical assembly techniques to fit, align, and secure components accurately.
Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools to ensure precise assembly.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
Inspect assembled units for quality, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
Perform basic testing of heat exchanger units to confirm proper function and integrity.
Identify and correct assembly issues, defects, or misalignments before final inspection.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a non-climate-controlled production environment.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working with tools, equipment, and materials.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Document work as required, including recording measurements, inspection results, and any rework performed.
Essential Skills
Proven experience assembling air-cooled heat exchangers.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings.
Proficient use of tape measures and other measuring tools for accurate layout and verification.
Experience using power tools and hand tools safely in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
Capability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently and accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in environments focused on air-cooled equipment or heat exchanger manufacturing.
Experience in mechanical or industrial assembly within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled facility and on a structured shift schedule.
Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability in meeting production commitments.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, where you will work primarily on a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role involves standing for extended periods, working around production equipment, and using power tools and mechanical assembly tools on a daily basis. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and adherence to established procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sapulpa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
