Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $22 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Construction Worker:

Assist with construction, repair, installation, and facility improvement projects throughout an industrial manufacturing facility

Perform general construction and labor duties based on project needs

Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, moving, and installing construction materials

Use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks and projects

Assist skilled tradespeople with construction and facility projects as needed

Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and supplies

Assist with demolition, cleanup, and material removal as required

Prepare work areas before projects and clean work areas upon completion

Follow measurements, work instructions, and directions from supervisors

Work independently and as part of a construction or maintenance team

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition

Follow all construction, facility, and workplace safety procedures

Perform other general construction and labor duties as assigned

Job requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

Previous construction, general labor, facility maintenance, carpentry, or skilled trades experience is preferred

Experience safely operating basic hand and power tools

Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials is preferred

Ability to follow measurements, instructions, and safety procedures

Ability to perform physical work in an industrial environment

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, crouch, climb, lift, and move materials throughout the shift

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong work ethic and reliability

Strong commitment to workplace safety
