Construction Laborer

Environmental Technician

Pay: $20/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts (50 hours/week)

Duration: 2-3 month project

Start: ASAP

Job Description

Seeking reliable laborers for an environmental cleanup project in Jacksonville, FL. Candidates will assist with hazardous waste cleanup , general site cleanup, and cleaning heavy equipment such as bulldozers, rollers, and excavators.

Responsibilities

Perform hazardous waste and environmental cleanup duties

Sweep, clean, and maintain work areas

Clean heavy equipment and machinery

Move materials and assist with site labor tasks

Follow all safety and environmental regulations

Use hand and power tools safely

Requirements

Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification REQUIRED

Construction, environmental, or general labor experience preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly

Comfortable working outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions

Ability to follow directions and work safely

Must be able to commit to the full 2-3 month project

Preferred

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification

Experience with hazardous materials or environmental remediation

Immediate openings available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
