As a Senior Marketing Field Specialist, you will lead the design, creation, development and execution of field marketing programs. You will support the Electrical & Electronic Solutions (EES) Construction team. You will plan the strategy, develop content, and execute programs to support the growth and expansion of Wesco's products and services for the local branches and supplier partners. Additionally, you will create, convey brand messages and improve brand awareness as well as analyze statistics and identify areas to optimize marketing performance. Other tasks include coordinating local events, trainings, sales meetings, exhibitions, and tradeshows. As a Sr. Marketing Field Specialist, you must be prepared for a fast pace, managing multiple projects simultaneously and wearing many hats. This role will support the Central region.
Responsibilities:
Owns end to end execution of assigned marketing programs, campaigns, or channels.
Translates objectives into briefs, plans, workflows, and deliverables.
Produces high quality assets and program outputs with minimal oversight.
Monitors performance, KPIs, and customer engagement; identifies optimization opportunities.
Synthesizes data, research, and insights into actionable recommendations.
Leads agency and vendor execution within defined scope.
Coaches and reviews work of Coordinators and Specialists to ensure quality and consistency.
Flags risks and recommends mitigation strategies to Managers or Senior Managers.
Coordinate with key contacts for implementation and communication of sales promotions and marketing campaigns from concept development to execution, including development of marketing collateral such as social and digital campaigns, as well as traditional marketing such as direct mailers, brochures, flyers, catalog pages, etc.
Conceive, guide and manage multiple campaigns and projects within a fast-paced environment, while acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring strong, visible and profitable working relationships between all of the business functions.
Assist with development, management and report tracking of marketing programs and activities for your respective region and programs.
Monitor customer engagement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of marketing campaigns and provide insight on how to improve or expand marketing effectiveness.
Assist with research and analysis of activities such as market trends, web metrics/trend analysis and tracking, competitive website/eCommerce monitoring, customer research, and competitor research.
Support your local branches for product promos, trainings, supplier coordination, local events, etc.
Work directly with supplier partners to develop local and national strategy, execute in your local assigned region and coordinate with colleagues to support their execution, as well as report back to suppliers with activity, performance metrics, ROI, and sales revenue/product reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent education and experience required.
Master's Degree - Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
4-6 years of progressive marketing experience preferably in Fortune 500 company.
Demonstrated ownership of complex programs or channels with measurable impact.
Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to spot questionable information or unusual data trends, combined with a disciplined problem-solving process that applies conceptual thinking to identify root cause(s) and provide appropriate solution(s) preferred.
Able to spot new and evaluate existing business opportunities, including the ability to ask good questions, look beyond the obvious, and see the "big picture" preferred.
Strong mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), working knowledge and at least basic- to intermediate-level HTML or WordPress skills preferred.
Strong creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and entrepreneurial drive; able to work with autonomy and self-direction.
Able to influence others through effective negotiation techniques and strong interpersonal skills, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency with marketing tools, platforms, and reporting for specialty area.
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Ability to work autonomously while aligning to broader program goals.
Industry experience in technology, product manufacturing, or supply chain preferred.
Ability to travel 25%-40%.
