Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support applicants and customers with thoughtful, timely service in San Francisco, California. This is a Contract position focused on creating a smooth experience by helping people understand next steps, providing accurate information, and resolving questions efficiently. The ideal candidate brings a service-first mindset, maintains dependable queue coverage, and responds well to feedback in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers over the phone with professionalism and patience, ensuring each interaction feels supportive and informative rather than rushed.

Guide callers through forms and application steps, helping them submit complete and accurate information on the first attempt whenever possible.

Handle a steady volume of inbound calls while maintaining consistent availability during scheduled hours and staying actively engaged in the service queue.

Follow up on open or incomplete cases to reduce delays and keep applications moving forward in a timely manner.

Enter customer and order information accurately into internal systems, documenting conversations and updates with attention to detail.

Place outbound calls when needed to gather missing details, clarify responses, or provide status updates to customers.

Apply coaching and performance feedback to strengthen service quality, call handling, and overall accuracy.

Support operational updates and process changes as assigned, adapting quickly to revised workflows and service expectations. Requirements - Experience in call center customer service or a similar high-volume support environment.

Strong background in handling inbound calls while delivering clear, courteous, and efficient assistance.

Ability to manage outbound follow-up calls to obtain information, confirm details, or resolve pending issues.

Proficiency in order entry and data input with a high level of accuracy.

Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to explain processes in a simple, helpful manner.

Reliable attendance and the ability to remain consistently available during scheduled working hours.

Receptive to coaching and able to adjust performance based on feedback.

Comfortable multitasking across customer conversations, documentation, and system navigation. TalentMatch®
