Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Job Description

This part-time Administrative Assistant role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to support daily office operations by processing paperwork, managing documents, and handling client communications. You will work approximately five hours per day in a professional office environment, using Microsoft Office applications to ensure accurate data entry, organized filing, and efficient administrative support.

Responsibilities

Process paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to support daily office operations.

Scan documents and maintain organized digital records for easy retrieval.

Handle incoming phone calls in a professional manner and route them appropriately.

Correspond with clients by phone and other channels, providing clear and courteous communication.

Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Word and Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.

Provide general administrative support as needed to assist the office team.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience with document scanning and digital filing.

Ability to manage filing systems and maintain organized records.

Effective verbal communication skills for handling phone calls and client correspondence.

Strong organizational and time management skills to complete tasks within a 5-hour workday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a professional office environment.

Comfort working with both physical and electronic documents.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

Willingness to support a variety of administrative tasks as business needs evolve.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cranbury, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
