As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Hershey, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Valid Driver's License (AU Driver Policy Requirements - C123) Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AUS driver policy requirements. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This experience is crucial for positions that involve security and access management within our facilities.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. Familiarity with basic software applications and digital communication tools is required for effective job performance.

Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should have a background in customer service. Experience in this area is vital for roles that involve direct interaction with clients and customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.

Prepare accurate activity reports and promptly communicate observed hazards, policy violations, and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
