As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)

1+ years of Security Experience

21+ years of age

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
