Administrative Assistant

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22.00

Assignment Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, vendors, employees, and other guests. This position will answer and direct telephone calls, manage visitor access, process mail, maintain office supplies, and provide general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls in a polite and professional manner.

Direct calls to the appropriate personnel or department.

Maintain the internal phone list and Reception Quick Reference.

Welcome onsite visitors and notify the appropriate personnel upon arrival.

Follow visitor sign-in procedures and provide guest or visitor badges.

Maintain and control badge access for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Create badges for new employees.

Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail.

Process outgoing mail and deliveries.

Order and maintain supplies for the mailroom, break room, office, and other areas.

Maintain vendor service logs.

Provide general administrative and clerical support.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative support experience preferred.

Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and interact professionally with employees, visitors, customers, and vendors.
