Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description
This role focuses on receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items within a stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. You will help ensure accurate inventory control, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support efficient order fulfillment for critical shipments.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming stock items, verify quantities, and record data accurately using manual logs or computer systems.
Count and verify stock items, comparing physical counts to inventory records, and investigate or correct discrepancies.
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
Store items in an orderly, safe, and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other storage areas.
Mark and label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Keep detailed records of stock usage, damage, and the condition of stock handling equipment.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damage, and promptly report issues to supervisors.
Provide assistance, guidance, and direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers as needed.
Determine proper storage methods, identification systems, and stock locations based on turnover rates, environmental factors, and facility capabilities.
Perform order picking and material handling using RF scanners and other warehouse tools.
Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory and orders to support timely shipment of products.
Work with a strong sense of urgency and purpose to ensure prescriptions and orders are processed and shipped on time.

5-7 years of warehouse, stockroom, or related experience required.
Willingness to work a flexible shift schedule.
Ability to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to perform tasks that include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Experience with picking, packing, inventory handling, and RF scanner use.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a climate-controlled warehouse or distribution environment.
Comfort working in departments focused on manual opening of items, filling containers, checking orders, and placing orders.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines consistently.
Comfort using technology such as RF scanners and basic computer systems for inventory tracking.
Ability to adapt to different warehouse departments and tasks as business needs change.

Work Environment
The facility is climate controlled, clean, and designed to support efficient, high-volume distribution operations. Work is performed on a backfill shift schedule of Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. You will work on your feet for most of the shift, performing manual tasks such as opening items, filling containers, checking orders, and placing orders, often using RF scanners and other warehouse tools. The atmosphere is laid back and casual, and employees may wear jeans, khakis, dress pants, capri pants (no shorter than mid-calf), scrubs, t-shirts, polo shirts, sneakers, closed-toe shoes, leggings, sweatpants, spandex pants, jackets, hoodies, and sweaters without pockets. Sleeveless shirts, shorts, scarves, dangling jewelry, jackets, hoodies, or sweaters with pockets, clothing with inappropriate words or graphics, hats or head coverings, ripped clothing showing skin, exposed midriffs, and pajama pants are not permitted. One earbud is allowed for listening to music while working, and phones may be carried in a pocket but may not be used on the floor. The site provides clear expectations around safety, professionalism, and performance, supported by training materials and videos that walk candidates through the work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
