Cadence Technologies is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow customer relationships within food and beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities throughout Georgia. This role is responsible for identifying customer challenges and creating value through the sale of sanitary process equipment, instrumentation, replacement parts, and service solutions.
The successful candidate will work directly with procurement, maintenance, engineering, operations, and sanitation teams to understand customer needs, develop solutions, and grow both existing and new business opportunities. This position works closely with Cadence's inside sales, engineering, service teams, and manufacturer representatives to deliver solutions that improve customer operations and support long-term growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management
Increase margins with established high-volume customers through value-based selling.
Drive top-line revenue growth by expanding and diversifying product offerings within existing accounts.
Support the transition of DG installations to aftermarket support opportunities.
Achieve year-over-year growth within assigned accounts.
Identify new accounts through traditional business development methods, including lead sharing, cold calling, referrals, and relationship development.
Contact Management
Develop strong relationships with client decision-makers in procurement, maintenance, engineering, operations, and sanitation.
Maintain relationships with key professionals across multiple manufacturing facilities.
Identify customer pain points, barriers, limitations, and opportunities to create value.
Engage with decision-making teams to uncover opportunities for equipment, parts, and service solutions.
Develop relationships with manufacturer representatives through collaborative selling, joint customer visits, training, and product solution development.
Collaborate with the inside sales team through lead sharing and strategic account support.
Foster collaboration with other outside sales team members.
Product Sales Development
Implement competitive sales strategies to expand product line penetration and grow market share.
Develop value-added solutions beyond standard equipment and parts supply.
Identify opportunities to increase profitability through consultative selling and customer value creation.
Promote and sell Cadence services, including pumps, valves, homogenizers, heat exchangers, and related offerings.
Contribute insight into opportunities to expand service offerings, focusing on practical and supportable solutions.
Technical Development
Provide industry insight on equipment and components to end users.
Conduct training sessions for maintenance personnel on supported products.
Offer technical support for products from supported manufacturers.
Identify engineering lead opportunities for Design Group leadership.
Sales Campaigns
Promote and market new products and services associated with planned sales campaigns.
Collect client feedback and gauge market interest.
Pursue leads and convert opportunities into sales.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales, account management, business development, industrial distribution, or a related customer-facing sales role.
Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and identify business opportunities.
Experience in industrial equipment sales, manufacturing, process equipment, industrial distribution, maintenance-related products, technical products, or a related industry preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities within customer accounts.
Technical aptitude to learn, support, and provide training on products and solutions.
Ability to manage a territory, prioritize activities, and work independently.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout Georgia.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Experience working with service technicians on capital equipment preferred.
Relevant sanitary process industry knowledge is a plus.
TRAVEL:
80%+ travel to customer facilities, manufacturer training, and general client support activities.
