As a Mechanical Assembly Associate , you will be responsible for assembling components, assemblies, and subassemblies while following detailed work instructions and quality standards. ? Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Production
Perform mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies according to work instructions.
Complete repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
Manually insert and assemble components using visual aids and assembly guides.
Apply labels accurately to parts, assemblies, and finished products.
Verify specifications before completing assembly processes.
Quality Assurance
Inspect assembled products to ensure compliance with production standards.
Identify defects, discrepancies, and assembly errors.
Maintain attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.
Ensure all completed work meets quality expectations.
Equipment & Tools Use
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Utilize scanners and tracking systems to record parts and production activities.
Handle materials and components responsibly to prevent damage.
Reporting & Documentation
Accurately report production quantities and completed work.
Track assembly status and identify any production issues.
Communicate concerns, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with security regulations and manufacturing standards.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Support team objectives by performing additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills
? Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions
? Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environments
? Experience using hand tools and power tools
? Comfortable working with scanners and production tracking systems
? Strong inspection and quality verification skills
? Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs
? Excellent reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
? Commitment to workplace safety and security standards

Prior manufacturing or production assembly experience
Experience working in fast-paced assembly environments

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
