As a part of the Supply Chain team, you'll be at the forefront of this dynamic service line, driving change and delivering solutions that revolutionize business operations. You'll help our clients with transformation and innovation efforts: driving growth, reducing costs and managing risks proactively.
Your key responsibilities
As an intern in the Supply Chain practice at EY, you'll support operating model design and process optimization initiatives by analyzing performance data and contributing to scalable, technology-enabled supply chain solutions.
We help clients establish, optimize and transform their supply chain functions to drive performance and resilience across the value chain.
As a part of this team, you will:
Assist in implementing supply chain applications that enhance end-to-end processes, including planning, transportation and e-commerce.
Support Manufacturing Technology initiatives to improve operational performance and reduce costs in digital factories.
Contribute to Energy Optimization Services, aiding organizations in their digitization journey and grid management.
Conduct demand forecasting and supply planning to improve inventory optimization and assess warehouse optimization plans.
Perform supplier risk assessments and support clients in increasing throughput and production efficiency.

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must:
Be pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree with a strong foundation in supply chain management, supply chain engineering, industrial engineering, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer science or management information systems.
Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex issues and develop appropriate solutions under guidance.
Understand that the expectation for this role is in person teaming, at a client site or in an EY office, on average 3 days a week depending on the needs of the engagement, project or practice area.
Have access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Be able and willing to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future.
In addition to the qualifications listed above, candidates applying to the Government & Public Sector practice must:
Have U.S. citizenship and be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher, within the designated time frame, which will be determined by the engagement requirements for a security clearance.
Ideally you:
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Are a purpose-driven and growth-oriented professional with a passion for learning, a collaborative mindset and a proven ability to innovate, adapt and leverage technology to drive meaningful change in dynamic business environments.
Have proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong academic foundation in business and/or technology and demonstrated ability to evaluate complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Have an aptitude, interest and/or experience in Java, Javascript, .Net, Python, C, C++, PHP, web development, analytics focused tools and platforms such as SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, business process design or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as SAP or Oracle or integration tools.

The hourly pay range for this job, in the US, is $35.63 - $43.39 per hour. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
