Security Officer - Patrol Driver - 1st Shift

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - 1st Shift in Waterloo, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

Tue06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.

Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
