Position: Farmworkers, Farm & Ranch Animals
Requirements: Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
Job Description: Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, loading animals, hauling manure and feed; Maintain records on animals; Receive, process, and start stocker cattle; Break ice in stock tanks; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Drive truck with trailer to haul feed, cattle, fertilizer, commodities to and from market points and ports; Inspect, maintain, prepare, repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards and fences including temporary hot wire, feeding/watering equipment; Provide mineral to cattle grazing wheat pasture; 45 minutes lunch break offered.
Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 40hrs per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8hrs per day. 8:00am-4:30pm
Anticipated Period of Employment: 09/01/2026 to 07/01/2027
