As a Security Officer Access Control in Newberry, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing visitor and employee access, issuing badges, monitoring alarm panels, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support routine patrols to help deter incidents. Mon04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Tue04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Wed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Thur04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.

Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, coordinate access for deliveries and shipments, and report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
