Location: Palmetto, FL

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 7 AM -3:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our manufacturing and distribution team in Palmetto. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials and products move safely and efficiently throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

Verify materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and inventory records.

Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.

Move materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping needs.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.

Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, or quality concerns.

Crate and prepare finished products for shipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

Support additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned. Based on common material handler responsibilities at the Palmetto aviation equipment manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.

Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.

Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmetto, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
