Become part of a forefront engineering firm specializing in the design and construction of sophisticated power systems for data centers and mission-critical industrial facilities. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled QA / QC Inspector with an industrial construction and power generation background to uphold the highest standards of quality across our large-scale projects. Data center experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Job Purpose:
Lead and manage all quality-related deliverables throughout project lifecycles, ensuring project requirements are met or exceeded. Develop, implement, and coordinate all quality assurance and inspection processes so projects achieve the required compliance and performance both on-site and off-site.
Position Overview:
As a QA / QC Inspector, you will be pivotal in developing and executing inspection and test plans (ITPs) for industrial construction and power generation projects. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to verify that all systems and components conform to specifications, codes, and quality standards. A strong technical background in power generation or industrial construction, paired with a commitment to project quality and compliance, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and project-specific Quality Assurance processes.
Supervise and perform inspection, testing, and verification activities to ensure all installations meet engineering and quality standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and monitor construction processes, providing actionable feedback for improvement.
Collaborate with project and engineering teams as well as contractors to resolve quality issues.
Review and validate supplier and contractor quality documents to guarantee project alignment.
Accurately document and report quality performance, including any discrepancies, corrective measures, and continuous improvement actions.
Support commissioning and system startup to verify operational readiness and compliance with specifications.
Required Technical/Professional Skills:
Experience with IT systems, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
Demonstrated coaching and mentoring abilities.
In-depth experience and understanding of the power generation or heavy industrial construction industry.
Knowledge of general electrical installation methodologies.
Minimum 5 years' experience with large-scale construction or power generation projects in an engineering capacity.
Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) best practices.
Working knowledge of Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.

Preferred Qualifications:
Technical expertise in CHP, controls, absorbers, gas trains, SCR systems, heat exchangers, silencers, and cooling systems.
Experience in renewable energy environments.
Degree, HND, or HNC in engineering.
Project management qualifications.
Proficiency in Procore construction software.
