The Accounting Manager leads the day-to-day accounting operations and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role partners closely with operations, supply chain, production, and executive leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational business objectives. The Accounting Manager oversees the monthly close process, inventory and cost accounting activities, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting support, and the development of accounting staff within a growing and evolving organization.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Oversee the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of supporting schedules.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
Manage inventory accounting processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
Oversee standard costing activities and ensure proper cost allocation and analysis.
Prepare, review, and present financial reports to operations, supply chain, production, and executive leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions and operational performance.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including preparation of budgets and financial projections.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations.
Develop, mentor, and support accounting staff to build a high-performing team.
Collaborate with leadership to improve accounting processes and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
Support multi-site operations and manufacturing activities by providing accurate and timely financial information, as needed.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Manufacturing industry experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP.
Experience with inventory accounting.
Experience with standard costing.
Experience with financial reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CPA or CMA certification (preferred).
Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes.
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
Interest in working within an organization involved in data center buildouts and rapid growth.
Work Environment
This role is fully onsite in a beautiful, newly built office space. The environment supports close collaboration with operations, supply chain, production, and executive leadership, offering exposure to a dynamic organization involved in data center buildouts and continuous growth. The onsite setting provides direct interaction with cross-functional teams and allows the Accounting Manager to stay closely connected to day-to-day business operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Osseo, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
