Standard Job Description

You will be the Manufacturing Supervisor (LEVEL 3) for the Production Operations Team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Supervisor (LEVEL 3) you will be responsible for leading a union-represented crew of 10-20 workers on weekend coverage Th-Sun (first shift), ensuring quality, schedule, and cost goals are met.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Supervise machining, assembly, weld, and painting of parts across multiple buildings.

Manage performance assessments, work assignments, cross-training, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, maintenance, and ESH partners to execute core metrics.

Ensure customer requirements and business objectives are consistently met.

Drive continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Previous leadership experience Appropriate acumen to successfully interact with Program Senior Management, Sr. Management, HR, and Union Leadership.

Demonstrated skills in team building and leading.

Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience Proficient in SAP Greenbelt Certification

Knowledge of CBA and interaction with Union Leadership

Experience in: First line supervision Collective Bargaining Agreement Programmatic/Operations cost and estimating

Driving continuous improvement/cost reduction activities

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
