Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Woburn, MA
Pay: $30-$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time, permanent with benefits

We are a precision manufacturing company specializing in centerless grinding and metal finishing services for customers across a variety of industries. Our operation relies on specialized industrial machinery and equipment, and we are looking for an experienced maintenance professional to help keep our facility running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial production and facility equipment. This role works closely with Engineering and other departments to minimize equipment downtime and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, lubrication, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and facility equipment.
Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, pumps, valves, gauges, pressure regulators, and mechanical drive systems.
Perform basic electrical, structural, and facility repairs.
Assist with installation of new and capital equipment and manufacturing processes.
Operate and work with machine shop equipment such as Bridgeport mills, lathes, drill presses, and surface grinders.
Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for electrical, HVAC, roofing, and specialized equipment repairs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including repairs, PMs, parts, costs, and equipment issues.
Safely operate forklifts, ladders, and scissor lifts as required.
Maintain fire safety equipment, emergency lighting, eyewash stations, and other facility systems.
Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience required.
Experience with industrial electrical systems.
Mechanical, machining, vocational, or industrial maintenance training preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Working knowledge of gearboxes, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, pumps, valves, and piping.
Machine shop experience with a Bridgeport, lathe, or similar equipment preferred.
Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Basic computer skills and ability to document work accurately.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely lift, push, pull, bend, climb ladders/stairs, and work at elevated heights when required.
