Construction Materials Technician I-San Antonio, TX

Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift | Overtime Available

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Construction Materials Technician I to join one of our growing clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction materials testing, field inspections, or laboratory testing who are looking to build a long-term career with a respected organization.

Responsibilities

Perform field and laboratory testing, sampling, and inspection of construction materials.

Conduct soil, concrete, asphalt, and other material testing in accordance with company and industry standards.

Communicate with project managers, contractors, and engineers regarding testing schedules and project updates.

Complete accurate testing and inspection reports daily.

Safely operate testing equipment and company vehicles while following all safety protocols.

Maintain testing equipment and ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months of construction materials testing or related experience.

Current industry certification (ACI, NICET, ICC, TXDOT, PTI, or similar) preferred.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 70 lbs.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
