As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Resolution in Northampton, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Key Qualifications:

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Experience in managing access control systems and issuing badges is essential for this role.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using technology, including computers and tablets, is crucial for daily operations.

Customer Service Experience (B219): A strong background in customer service is important, as this role involves direct interaction with clients and visitors.

Day Time

Fri04:00 AM - 10:00 AM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response protocols.

Monitor and control access points at a logistics and distribution location, verifying identification, visitor authorization, delivery appointments, and vehicle entry and exit activity.

Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, driver, and vehicle logs in accordance with site requirements.

Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
