As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring environment while working with an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Tue05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, supervisors, and emergency responders regarding incidents and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
