As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Clearance Eligible in Canoga Park, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Day Time

Mon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related activities.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access control points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.

Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
