1st Shift Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate works in a file storage facility, handling cardboard boxes, building pallets based on pick lists, and ensuring accurate inventory movement and organization. This role requires consistent attention to detail, safe lifting practices, and the ability to meet productivity targets while maintaining an orderly warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Build pallets based on detailed pick lists, ensuring each pallet contains the correct boxes and quantities.
Assemble pallets with 48 boxes per pallet and maintain a pace of approximately one pallet per hour.
Lift and move cardboard boxes weighing up to 40 pounds safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
Move other boxes out of the way as needed to access and retrieve the required boxes.
Match labels accurately on boxes and pallets to ensure proper identification and placement.
Perform general labor tasks within the warehouse, including loading, staging, and organizing boxes.
Support inventory and inventory control activities by following established procedures for storage and retrieval.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse standards and guidelines.
Essential Skills
Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or similar environment.
Ability to safely lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
Experience with loading and handling warehouse inventory.
Ability to follow pick lists and build pallets accurately and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail when matching labels and verifying box information.
Basic understanding of inventory and inventory control practices.
Ability to work at a steady pace to meet productivity expectations, such as completing one pallet per hour.
Reliability and consistency in following instructions and warehouse procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience working with file storage or document management is helpful.
Familiarity with warehouse inventory processes and organization is an advantage.
Comfort working in a structured, task-focused environment with repetitive lifting and movement.
Ability to work independently while contributing to overall team goals.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse that stores files in cardboard boxes, with a focus on organization, safety, and efficiency. The position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The workday includes two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch. The environment involves regular physical activity, including lifting and moving boxes up to 40 pounds and building pallets according to pick lists. You work around pallets, shelving, and stacked boxes, following warehouse procedures to keep the space orderly and safe.

This is a Contract position based out of Easton, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
