Summary You will serve as a Administrative Officer, an integral member of the management team, providing a wide range of administrative services, advice, and counsel for a complex organization within the Fish and Wildlife Service. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Manage budget planning, execution, and financial analysis to ensure effective resource allocation and compliance with fiscal policies. Serve as the primary financial advisor and liaison, providing budget guidance, monitoring agreements, and supporting financial reporting and audits. Advise leadership on administrative operations, resource management, and organizational support to improve efficiency and meet mission requirements. Analyze administrative processes and policies, recommend operational improvements, and ensure compliance with Department and agency guidance. Manage procurement activities, including acquisition planning, market research, contract documentation, and compliance with financial and procurement regulations.
