Administrative Assistant - Bankruptcy Law Firm

Location: Tulsa, OK

Duration: 90 day Temp to Hire

Employment Type: Full-Time

Starting Salary: $45,000+ DOE

About the Role

A well-established local law firm in Tulsa is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the firm's legal and financial case-management operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent computer abilities, and an interest in the legal or accounting fields.

Previous accounting or paralegal experience is a plus, but candidates with strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

Manage and maintain case files from initial filing through final accounting and case closure

Review and analyze financial documents and case plans for accuracy and completeness

Review and process proofs of claim and supporting documentation

Review budgets and financial information for accuracy

Monitor case deadlines and maintain calendars for important events and required filings

Electronically file required documents with the appropriate court

Maintain accurate and meticulous case records within the firm's case management system

Organize and maintain electronic and physical documentation

Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, and other parties as needed

Assist with general administrative and case-management duties to support the legal team

Requirements

Qualifications

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems quickly

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines

Ability to work independently while also supporting a team

Professional demeanor and strong follow-through

Accounting education and/or experience helpful

Legal education and/or experience helpful

Previous accounting, legal, paralegal, or law-office experience is a plus
