As a Warehouse Assembler , you'll play a critical role in loading freight, organizing cargo, and maximizing container space to keep packages moving across the country.

What You'll Do
Unload freight from incoming trucks and prepare shipments for airline transportation.
Transfer, sort, and organize packages for efficient loading into cargo containers.
Strategically stack and assemble freight using a "Tetris-style" approach to maximize cargo space and secure loads.
Consolidate smaller packages and mail into larger transport bags for streamlined shipping.
Use handheld scanners and tracking systems to accurately record package movement and inventory.
Perform quality checks to ensure freight is loaded safely, securely, and according to standards.
Follow airport and warehouse safety procedures at all times.
Work closely with team members to meet critical shipment deadlines and flight schedules.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to support daily operations.
Maintain dependable attendance in a time-sensitive air cargo environment.
What We're Looking For
Experience loading/unloading trucks, freight, or working in warehouse, logistics, or general labor environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and performing physical work for extended periods.
Experience organizing, stacking, palletizing, or assembling materials efficiently.
Familiarity with inventory tracking and handheld scanners.
Reliable transportation to Stockton Airport (public transportation is not available).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to attendance.
Ability to pass required airport screening processes.
Steel-toed boots that cover the ankle.
Bonus Experience
Airport cargo, ramp agent, or air freight experience.
Warehouse picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment.
Experience working in fast-paced environments with productivity goals and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
Work Environment
Work on-site at Stockton Airport in a dynamic warehouse and cargo operations setting. This role involves moving freight, loading cargo containers, operating scanners, and working alongside a dedicated team that helps keep air shipments on schedule.
Available Shifts:
1:30 AM - 10:00 AM
2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Schedules adjust approximately every three months based on airline flight operations, with advance notice provided. Applicants must be flexible and have an open schedule.

This is a Contract position based out of Stockton, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
