What You'll Do
As a Medical Scheduler, you'll play a key role in coordinating appointments and ensuring a smooth experience for patients, healthcare providers, and customers.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling examinations using an internal database system
Coordinating appointment dates and times with physicians' offices
Confirming appointments and communicating changes, cancellations, and no-shows
Preparing and sending appointment notification letters
Communicating with healthcare providers, examinees, and customers regarding scheduling needs
Verifying receipt of medical records and other required documentation
Coordinating ancillary services such as interpreters, transportation, chaperones, and exam site arrangements when needed
Providing updates on report status and scheduling information
Processing mail, deliveries, and shipments as needed
Assisting teammates and supporting other departments when necessary
Arranging lodging and transportation for out-of-town examinees
Participating in training and professional development activities
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (retail, customer support, call center, administrative, or related experience welcome)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in a professional setting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment
Experience handling high-volume phone lines
Proficiency with standard office equipment and computer systems
Typing speed of 35+ WPM
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
