This is operational Program specialist
Product lifecycle management, configuration management, BOM management, change order management
As engineers develop product, they need to create part numbers and enter into PLM tool - townsend (used to be agile)
Part number creation
NCO, RCOs, etc.
They go into PLM tools and are creating change orders to route to configuration management team (tina's team)
Candidates come from configuration management team so thats why him and Tina cross paths with candidates
Build matrix - every proto build they go to Asia and put together build matrix of what they want to build. Create configuration with project with products they'll be using
Handling final configuration before they go to customers
The ECOs usually come from engineers, they take info and enter into PLM tools
NPI
As a key stakeholder during the development of new and exciting products your support will be to ensure the product development phases throughout the NPI process are well defined and organized by taking ownership of the following tasks:
Create and structure Bill of Materials (BOM)
Track and entry of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) in Townsend, (used to use Agile so that exp helps) and manage BOM changes
Work closely with Engineering and Component Engineers to create part numbers
Communicate new part numbers to internal teams and to the Contract Manufacturer
Daily Schedule:
-Collaborating with product develop team and third party suppliers regarding BOM/material management
-Submitting change order requests
these roles will be supporting diff programs though. Supporting BOM in PLM tools, working with cross functional teams, operations, etc.
? Will be supporting Kuiper program so they are trying to get everything launched - launching rockets/satellites

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hard skills: product lifecycle, BOM, bill matrices (when they build proto@types there are many diff @types of pro@types to build), cross-functional collab is hug, device building, Excel (pivot table/vlookup), hardware configuration, consumer electronics/aerospace/devices/hardware (silicon is helpful too as they have customer silicon on this and can speak this language)
Qualifications:
Must have experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools; Agile, Windchill
Must have hardware configuration management experience
Knowledgeable of system/device build planning and builds
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage competing deadlines efficiently
Bachelor's degree
2-4 years of experience in a similar role
2-4 years of exposure in Consumer Electronics is a nice to have
Experience working with overseas contractors is a nice to have
You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment

This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
