CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an Administrative Assistant / Secretary II .

Type: Contract

Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Secretary II

Location: Corning, NY

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Corning, NY

Pay Rate: $15.82-19.60

Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities:

Manages routine daily administrative tasks and details

Independently gathers information using established procedures

Identifies issues and recommends solutions to improve workflow efficiency

Ensures office coverage during normal business hours

Manages calendars, phone coverage, and travel arrangements

Plans offsite meetings and events

Processes expense reports in Concur

Manages and maintains office supplies

Initiates and manages purchase order processes

Provides backup administrative support within the organization

Provides efficient and effective administrative information and assistance

Handles confidential information appropriately and maintains confidentiality at all times

Experiences/Education Required

Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing

Demonstrates strong organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate, complete work

Self-motivated, proactive, and detail oriented

Works independently and seeks assistance when needed

Maintains professional composure and demeanor at all times

Works effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Regularly communicates with client groups and external associates to obtain or share information needed to complete tasks

Uses discretion to manage workflow with general supervisory guidance

Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks simultaneously

Stays current on trends and adapts to new technology and processes

Demonstrates strong computer and technology skills

Maintains a professional presence, maturity, and appearance

Accessible, dependable, and reliable

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

1-3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a related role

Additional Information
