Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling parts into large sub-assemblies, units, or systems, and ensuring that all assembled units meet standard quality tests.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed instructions to assemble parts into large sub-assemblies, units, or systems.

Troubleshoot and rework assembled units that fail standard tests.

Collaborate with engineers in the modification or repair of sub-assemblies and systems.

Assist with incoming receiving inspection and quality control following company procedures.

Participate in inventory stock taking and assist in inventory control procedures.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in assembly, electronics, and wiring.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.

0-1+ years of technician experience is preferred.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cell manufacturing environment, which requires adherence to specific safety and operational procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
