We're seeking a seasoned leader to lead a team focused on driving adoption of AWS within our Mining, Manufacturing and Services segment. They must have the business acumen and leadership background necessary to help customers innovate, effectively add value to field sellers who bring together cross-functional teams including sales, partner managers, professional services, business development, and product teams to deliver revenue and business growth for AWS. As a Senior Leader focused on our fast growing Mining, Manufacturing and Services customers, you'll have an exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of AI and cloud computing, by leading a sales team dedicated to helping customers deliver innovative solutions leveraging leading-edge AWS services. The right candidate will possess a technology sales and management background that enables them to lead a team of senior sales representatives with engagements at the Board, CxO and LOB level. They should also be able to effectively engage AWS' executives to engage in creative proposals and influence roadmap decisions. To be successful, the candidate needs to be a self-starter, show ownership and high urgency, role model leadership behaviours within the Perth office and develop a positive relationship with sellers and peers.

Key job responsibilities

Drive adoption of AWS' full suite of services into a set of strategic customers

Exceed annual revenue and growth targets, applying high standards to business operations

Manage and coach a diverse and high performing team of sales professionals

Ensure end customer satisfaction and strong executive relationships - Co-develop and help executing account plans with field sellers

Inspect joint-GTM activities to drive and accelerate adoption of our products, working closely with AWS partner and cross-functional teams

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of sales experience

Experience managing teams

Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

Experience hiring and leading sales or account management teams focused on acquiring and managing enterprise customers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience conversing with senior customer stakeholders including Directors and VPs of procurement, CPOs, VP's supply chain, and CIOs

Experience selling to large, medium and small merchants and successfully delivering a multi-million dollar sales quota
