As a Security Officer, you will provide mobile, unarmed patrol coverage throughout a retail and neighborhood setting, helping to maintain a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and tenants. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, residents, tenants, and retail guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions as required.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, sidewalks, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for security-related concerns such as suspicious activity, access issues, property damage, or hazards, and report findings to appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control, directions, and general information while maintaining a professional presence in a neighborhood retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
