Summary You will serve as a FUELS SPECIALIST of NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY PANAMA CITY FL. Responsibilities You will maintain full responsibility for the safe operations, management, training and accountability of the DFSP to which they are assigned. You will coordinate with the CNIC Navy Petroleum Office (NPO), CNIC RFO, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy, and commercial suppliers to balance customer fuel requirements with fuel resupply. You will detect inaccuracies in the calibration of electronic tank gauges with manual measurement. You will analyze technical reports (tank inspections, cathodic protection reports and other facility reports) for accuracy in accordance with policy and uses judgement to initiate additional maintenance or repair actions. You will plan work assignments, sets operational and administrative priorities, and provides day-to-day oversight of the Fuel Distribution System Operators assigned to the DFSP. You will be responsible for the security at the site. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Utilizing maintenance tracking systems to develop periodic asset management schedules and annual maintenance cycle plans; 2) Interpreting petroleum operations management reports to determine the impact of maintenance and loss of components on operability; 3) Overseeing the operation and maintenance of fuel facilities to ensure quality control and safe handling of bulk petroleum fuels.
