Fabricator
Overview
Join a team that manufactures and assembles aircraft floats used to convert airplanes into seaplanes for passenger transportation, tourism, and firefighting operations worldwide. This hands-on role offers structured training, opportunities for advancement, and a family-oriented work environment on a 1st-shift, four-day workweek. No welding experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble aircraft float components using hand and power tools.
Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
Measure, cut, form, and assemble materials to required tolerances.
Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Accurately record labor time and complete work order documentation in ERP systems.
Follow FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety requirements.
Communicate progress, issues, and production status with supervisors.
Fabricator Responsibilities
Perform more complex fabrication and assembly work.
Interpret engineering drawings and determine fabrication processes.
Install and bond aircraft components using rivets, adhesives, and mechanical fasteners.
Maintain material traceability and verify product conformity.
Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced team members.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or metal shop experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
Experience with hand tools and power tools such as drills, grinders, sanders, and riveters.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and work in a physically active environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred for Fabricator
Technical diploma or equivalent training.
Three or more years of fabrication or assembly experience.

Work Environment
Work in a clean metal fabrication facility using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The role requires standing, walking, and performing hands-on production tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of South Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $64500.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
