As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government correctional facility.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and emergency responders.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.

Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
