Job Title: Warehouse Clerk Job Description
This temporary Warehouse Clerk role supports inventory preparation and day-to-day warehouse operations. You will help with scheduled inventory counts, labeling master packs, preparing boxes and packaging materials, verifying SKU numbers, packaging products, and confirming inventory quantities. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform physical work on your feet throughout the shift while following established procedures and direction from warehouse leadership.
Responsibilities
Prepare inventory for scheduled inventory counts and ensure products are organized and staged for accurate counting.
Assist with inventory counts by identifying, counting, and recording products and materials.
Maintain inventory accuracy by carefully checking quantities and documenting results.
Verify SKU numbers against products and inventory records to ensure correct identification.
Label master packs and inventory items accurately so all products are clearly and properly identified.
Prepare boxes and packaging materials to support inventory and warehouse operations.
Package products according to company standards, confirming quantities before packaging and shipment preparation.
Enter and verify inventory information using basic warehouse computer systems and applications.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
Follow instructions and direction from the Floor Manager and warehouse leadership.
Perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse setting while standing and working on your feet for up to 8 hours per day.
Adapt to changing warehouse priorities and support general labor, shipping and receiving, material handling, picking, and packaging tasks as needed.
Be available to work overtime on designated project days when required.
Essential Skills
Experience with picking, packaging, inventory, shipping and receiving, material handling, and general labor in a warehouse or similar environment.
Ability to prepare inventory for scheduled counts and maintain accuracy during inventory preparation and counting.
Strong attention to detail, including the ability to identify discrepancies in product counts and SKU numbers.
Ability to verify SKU numbers against products and inventory records and label master packs and inventory accurately.
Capability to package products according to established standards and confirm quantities before packaging and shipment preparation.
Basic computer skills, including entering and verifying inventory information and using warehouse systems and applications.
Physical stamina to stand and work on feet for up to 8 hours per day and perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse setting.
Reliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to follow instructions from warehouse leadership and work cooperatively with team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to maintain accuracy in labeling and inventory processes over extended periods of time.
Effective communication skills to interact clearly with warehouse leadership and team members.
Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills are encouraged and considered an asset.
Flexibility to adapt to changing warehouse priorities and support different tasks as needed.
Availability to work overtime on specified project dates when required.

Work Environment
This role is based in a small warehouse environment with a first-shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work on your feet for most of the day, performing repetitive tasks such as picking, packaging, material handling, and inventory-related activities. The work area is expected to remain clean, organized, and safe, and you will use basic warehouse computer systems and equipment to support inventory and operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
