The Community Support Services Minnesota Life Bridge team provides services and requires frequent travel throughout the state. When a State-owned vehicle is not available and an employee is required to use their personal automobile to conduct authorized State business, the employee will be reimbursed at the current Federal IRS mileage reimbursement rate. The Clinical Behavioral Consultant will have the opportunity to help people live better lives, work with a variety of community providers, and work with a great Community Support Services team.
The Clinical Behavioral Consultant - Clinical Program Therapist 4 serves as a lead clinician providing advanced behavioral health services to individuals with complex needs. This role requires independent clinical licensure and involves delivering high-level assessment, consultation, and person-centered support within community-based settings. Given the integrated nature of CSS work, the Clinical Behavioral Consultant functions as a generalist and provides consultation as needed to colleagues with complementary expertise; the Clinical Behavioral Consultant integrates multidisciplinary expertise to facilitate positive outcomes for clinically complex individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized support recommendations
Provide clinical leadership and ongoing guidance to multidisciplinary teams
Design and deliver training and technical assistance to caregivers, providers, and community partners
Support teams in managing complex behavioral challenges and improving stability in community living
Collaborate with professionals across healthcare, social services, and legal systems to coordinate care
Integrate multidisciplinary expertise to achieve positive, person-centered outcomes
Assist in the transition out of a crisis setting to a more person-centered, long-term home
Minimum Qualifications

Master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field
Licensure/Certification in the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional (e.g., LICSW, LP, LPCC, LMFT, BCBA or Licensed Behavioral Analyst)
Preferred Qualifications
Three years of post-licensure experience providing clinical services.

Experience:
Working with and being part of an interdisciplinary team.
Experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and/or behavior challenges in community-based settings.
Experience interpreting client data from providers and generating data collection systems, including tables, graphs, etc.
Writing and reviewing multi-modal reports.
Knowledge of:
Behavioral health and disability services and support resources.
Social service funding, case management, and rules/laws governing services to persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities, mental illnesses, brain injury, and/or substance use disorders.
Working knowledge of licensing requirements and billing processes related to Home and Community-Based Services waivered services.
Creative presentation skills and public speaking skills to effectively train adult learners.
