Administrative Assistant

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team onsite in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performs administrative duties in a staff activity.

Performs specialized assignments relating to typing, word processing, graphics illustration using computers, with very little direction.

Performs a variety of support services such as operation of reproduction equipment to produce large volumes of documents, courier service, and mail service, etc.

Maintains personnel and other files.

Prepares correspondence, schedules, and coordinates travel.

Assists in the preparation of documents and supports the development of contract deliverables and reports.

Responsible for integrating graphics generated with automated tools and the deliverable documents.

Assists with the onboarding of new hires

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience completing clerical and administrative duties

High School Diploma or equivalent education

Experience in preparing and/or administrative duties on a technical program

Experience with maintaining files

Experience with preparing correspondences and scheduling

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Clearance Requirements:

US Citizenship required and an active or current Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
